Why would I consider buying a modular home as compared to a conventional "stick built" house?

Answer:

Modular homes have numerous advantages:

1. Adverse effects from the environment during construction have been eliminated! The house is built indoors in a controlled environment.

2. Rain, snow, and virtually all forms of precipitation are harmful to lumber, plywood, finish materials. Not with a modular home, it is built inside.

3. Because Modular homes are built "indoors" all the materials acclimate to the building without being drenched in rain or severely affected by snow.


Question:

Why else would I consider a modular home?

Answer:

Modular homes have two huge tangible benefits over site built - "stick-built" homes.

1. First, the entire project is much quicker from start to finish when you move in. It is not difficult for us to complete a 2,000 square foot 4 bedroom home within four weeks from the time it is delivered.

2. Second, the overall cost of your new home will run between eight and twelve per-cent less because of vastly increased productivity throughout the construction project.


Question:

Will my bank finance a modular home?

Answer:

Traditionally banks really like modular homes because of their inherent quality and the speed with which the project is completed. The bank knows and thoroughly understands the value of modular homes. With increased value it is less of a risk for the bank. Yes! Banks love modular homes!


Question:

Why would I want to buy a "cookie-cutter" type house that seems typical of modular homes?

Answer:

No Clue! Every home we build is totally custom built representing your individual wants and needs while staying within your budget.


Question:

Do modular homes have all the nice things we want in our new home?

Answer:

Yes they do! All you have to do is let us know what amenities you would like in your new home and we will build it for you! How about hardwood floors, fireplaces, air conditioning, ceramic tile, cedar siding, standing seam metal roofs, garages, decks, porches, patio rooms, skylights, central vacuum cleaners, whirlpool tubs, home theaters, and on and on and on! We can include within your new home virtually anything you would want.


Question:

How big can you build our house? We don't want a small ranch house!

Answer:

The largest home we have built is a 7,500 square foot house with six bedrooms and 6 and one-half bathrooms. So, yes, I think we can build you a large house. We already have built a house that is closer to a small hotel.


Question:

I saw very unique kitchen faucets and cool kitchen fixtures; can we have them?

Answer:

Sure, we will gladly include within your new home any custom ordered part whether it is a faucet or windows or floor coverings; we can do it all.


Question:

Will you help us with design work or do we need an architect?

Answer:

Almost all the time we assist clients with design work, providing free consultation throughout from initial design work to final details. And, in addition, we do work with architects.


Question:

Can you build our house for us this fall before winter?

Answer:

Yes, but you must move quickly. The quality builders will be booked for the entire year soon.
